How it works

  1. 01

    Add a repository and its benefits

    Choose what a purchase unlocks: GitHub collaborator access, a Discord invite, license keys, files, links, or text. Order them the way buyers should see them.

  2. 02

    Connect the product to a payment provider

    Map a Lemon Squeezy, Polar, or Stripe product to the repository. Perkz verifies each webhook signature and records the order.

  3. 03

    The buyer claims access

    After checkout the buyer receives an access link by email, signs in with the GitHub account they want to use, and the invitation is sent. One GitHub account per purchase.

Why Perkz

Both columns are the same work after a sale. One of them happens once per buyer, by hand.

By hand

  • Copy the buyer's GitHub username out of the payment email and send the repository invite yourself.
  • Paste a Discord invite into a message, then regenerate it when the link gets shared around.
  • Generate a license key in a spreadsheet and send it in a follow-up email with the download link.
  • Watch the payment dashboard for refunds, then find the buyer to remove the invite, the Discord role, and the key.

ZeroToShipped is Kitze's boilerplate. It is sold on Polar, and every paid order is delivered by Perkz: the buyer gets a GitHub invite to the private repository, and a refund revokes that access.
